Alex Craighead Wines are based in Upper Moutere, on the northwest of the South Island of New Zealand. They have a small cellar where they craft zero additive wines from 10 different grape varieties. They currently farm 11 hectares of grapes across four vineyards (a combination of owned and leased), with soil types ranging from clay to gravel and silt.
 
"Kindeli Blanco" is a biodynamically farmed white blend made from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. 5% was fermented carbonically, 15% was destemmed and fermented on skins, and the rest was pressed into neutral oak and stainless steel. Zero additives. The Sauvignon Blanc gives the greener, herbaceous characteristics, and the Chardonnay gives a more pronounced body and ripeness. Complex, crisp, and textural from the skin contact. A semi-orange wine for all those intrigued.
