Folicello wines showcase the true character of the terroir and the energy of the winemakers, Marco and Antonella Folicello. They began their winemaking journey in the 1980's, at a time when very few people were making wine organically. Their aim was to make light, joyous wines that reflected the character of the Emilia-Romagna region and it began almost as a game to them. They have progressed into a fully functioning biodynamic vinyard that is entirely energy self-sufficient.
They focus entirely on varieties native to the Emilia-Romagna region, and this wine is no exception. 100% Trebbiano, grown in rocky limestone soil, this wine is a light, crisp example of the grape, with aromas of peach and green apple.
